The Modern Play House is a kids soft play facility dedicated to creating meaningful, educational play in a child friendly environment. The main area of the centre comprises a large open space, transformed into a fun theme that children will love. Founder Caroline is a big believer in getting young people to explore, move around the room, building up muscles and gain confidence. Part of the challenge was to source equipment and toys to support this ethos. From open-ended soft play props to wooden climbers, bouncy castles and more, items had to be safe and stand up to many house of interactive play.

Of course, one of the key considerations was how to cover such a large, hard floor area and make it safe. The Modern Play House considered semi-permanent options, such as artificial grass and wet-pour playground asphalt, but these were found to be expensive and difficult to install.
